The 2021 Monster Raffle launch is just days away and we are still open to Donation
As the evenings are darkening, this is a time to think of others; do reach out and say hello to friends, neighbours and those around us. A simple hello can mean an awful lot.
Thank you for your support of our 2022 Calendar. The sales are finished (with a record number of sales) and that the order is placed. We plan on delivering the calendar to the school (and to be collected by your child) on Dec 15th – 17th
Thank You
For any questions, please email us at jpaconnect@gmail.com.
Welcome to all parents, staff, and children to the 2021 / 22 school year. We hope ye have settled in and feeling the pleasant routine of a chirpy school yard on a weekday morning.
The new JPA committee is formed after our AGM towards the end of August and we had our first meeting in early October. We intend to make the 21/22 school year an inclusive year for all those involved with Johnstown Boys and Girls National School. Do stay in touch and feel free to connect with me (and the committee) at any stage.
We will be taking class photographs for our annual school calendars tomorrow morning.
With Thanks,
Jpa.
The JPA would like to send their appreciation for the 24 years of dedication from Ms. Sheila Mc Keever, who left to begin her retirement on the first week of term.
Sheila worked in mainstream classes within the girls’ school, on the Support Team, and in the original Meadow classes when they opened in October 2011.
On behalf of all parents and pupils, we wish Sheila well on her retirement.
The Johnstown Parents Association were delighted to hear of the appointment of Michelle Cotterell as Principal of Johnstown Boys School and on behalf of all the parents we would like to wish her all the very best in her new role.
